Rechts het gebouw met de kleine raampjes is een Ames- garage. Ames is zijn bedrijf gestart in de Tesselschadestraat met een brug en een benzinepomp.Het pand was daarvoor van de DMI, en werd gebruikt als depot voor melk uitgifte.Daarna is er een nieuw pand in gebruik genomen op de Brouwersdijk. Met het logo van VW boven op de gevel.
